The Players




Dr. Gary Gramling - is a Christian Studies professor at Howard Payne University. He taught classes that both Kaela and Kristoffer Aaron attended while they were students at Howard Payne. He gained a huge amount of respect from the couple during that time at Howard Payne that lead them to ask him to perform the wedding ceremony for them when they got married. Dr. Gramling is truly a man that walks with the shine of Christian love on his face. He has a wife and two children that live with him in Brownwood Texas. His wife has also been very supportive of the wedding, she graciously postponed the annual family vacation time that they have every year just so Dr. Gramling could perform the ceremony. Dr. Gramling was also involved in the pre-marital counseling before the wedding and continues to support the couple in prayer and friendship.






Bo Gillespie - the Best Man. Bo is one of the groom's closest friends. They met each other during their freshmen years (1998) at Howard Payne University in Brownwood. Even thought Bo decided to leave H.P.U. after that first year and move back to his home town of Arlington Texas to go to college, the two stayed in contact with each other and remained good friends. Bo was also Ben's (groomsman) roommate during his time at HPU and the three of them (Bo, Ben and Aaron) were known as the troublemaking pranksters on HPU's campus (we have no idea where people would get that idea). Bo moved to Austin Texas at the same time Aaron did in the Fall of 2001 so the two of them could work on their shared passion for film and making troub... err...movies. Bo is a jokester but has the biggest heart of anyone we know and is a dear friend to us both.






Gina Beaver - the Maid of Honor. Gina and Kaela became close friends while they both attended Howard Payne University. Even though Gina transferred to college in San Angelo Texas during Kaela's Junior year, the two friends and former roomies stayed in close contact with each other. They both share a love for the performing arts and both graduated with drama minors. Gina also shares the same birthday as Aaron, who she came to approve highly of the second they met. Gina is currently a full time theater/speech high school teacher in Lulling, Texas. She is one of the most open-hearted people Kaela has ever met and Kaela is looking forward to supporting her in her wedding on August 3 of this year.








Ben Sword - Groomsman (pictured with girlfriend Arielle). Ben and Aaron also met during their freshmen years at Howard Payne and quickly became close friends. Ben is the brain and the logic to the trio of trouble and is a President's List English major at Howard Payne University and is close to graduation. He plans on getting his masters degree after graduation and then teach English on the college level. He is from Wheeler Texas and carries with him the profound small town wisdom that he so creatively puts into words for our amusement and enlightenment. Ben is one of the funniest and wisest people Aaron knows, and Aaron has the utmost trust in his council and friendship.








Michelle Farci - Bridesmaid. Michelle is the Best Man's (Bo) long time girlfriend and one of Kaela's closest friends now. She is a pre-med student at the University of Texas in Austin and is working towards being an obstetrician. Michelle is quick to be of service when a friend is in need, and proved it during the wedding by bending over backwards to help Kaela get everything ready. Much like her true love Bo, she is equally matched in heart and loyalty. Even though Michelle is one of Kaela's newest friends, she has proven to be one of the best.









Aaron N. Chandler - Groomsman and Bride's Brother. Aaron is about as cool of an in-law as the other Aaron could ask for. The two quickly forged a friendship after they met 2 years ago at Kaela's parents house in Houston and are continuing to grow that friendship into a true brothership. Aaron graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in psychology and is currently working in Austin Texas. He is a master martial artist and has a deep love for gaining knowledge and teaching others. His heart and intellect is only matched by his loyalty to family and friends. He has a close relationship with his sister that they both cherish and Kris Aaron (or Aaron the sequel) couldn't have been more blessed to have A.C. as his new brother.







Hayley Hendrickson - Bridesmaid. Hayley is Kaela's cousin on her mother's side. Hayley is going to be a junior at her high school, where she is a track star and a new varsity cheerleader! She plans on going to college to study to be an orthodontist, which she has wanted to be for about as long as she can remember. Hayley is one of the wisest, level-headed 16 year olds (is that an oxymoron?) Kaela has ever met. She is much more mature than most people her age and has a good head on her shoulders. Michaela was so proud to have Hayley standing with her on her most important day.











Mike D. Jackson - King Groomsman, Hail to the King baby. If Ben, Aaron and Bo are the trio of trouble then Mike is surely the mastermind behind us. Mike and Aaron have been long time friends ever since they met back in the great Brownwood BBS wars of 1992 (too long to explain). They started an online community BBS board together back then called Reptile-Land (named after the pen name Mike used during his stint as a political commentary writer for the National Jaycees) that ruled the town before the internet became available there. The two shared a love for computers, games, gadgets, music, movies, politics and the odd things in life. Mike taught Aaron the ways of the easy going guy and how friendship is more important than anything else in life. Mike currently lives in Brownwood Texas where he works in the family business of producing and distributing music. When Mike is around the laughs and good times never stop. He is true blue and the best friend a guy could have. Long live the King.








Heather Lingle - Bridesmaid (pictured with Mother Peggy). Heather and Kaela have only known each other for a short time, but Aaron has known Heather for over 15 years. The two were childhood friends and grew up together living across the street from one another in Early Texas. As children they ruled the neighborhood and started multiple club houses, ghost catching companies, slime competitions, and rocketship building endeavors together. Heather graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin Texas and is currently living in Montana. She loves to learn and better herself and has a gift for friendship and helping others.









Devan Yoakum - ring bearer. Devan is the groom's 11 year old nephew, Scott's brother and a ball of energy and excitement. He is a very thoughtful young man with great intelligence and heart. He is a student in a San Angelo Elementary school where he makes top marks in his class.

Emily Martin - flower girl (pictured right with mother Paula Martin). Kaela's youngest cousin is 5 years old and very active! She is very precocious as well as precious and Aaron and Kaela can't wait to watch her as she grows into a young lady.








Steven McGuffey - candle lighter. Steven is the groom's 15 year old (and oldest) nephew. He is a student at Brownwood High School, where he makes top grades and plays varsity tennis. He enjoys movies and reading, and hopes to become a writer some day. He has immense talent for creative writing and we believe that he will make good on his wish.

Ashley McGuffey - candle lighter. Ashley is groom's 13 year old Niece. She is a student at Brownwood Middle School and enjoys playing tennis and softball. She enjoys hanging out with her friends at the lake and making sure her older brother Steven doesn't get too big of an ego. She's turning out to be a beautiful young lady and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her.






Kimber Martin - reception and guestbook attendant. One of Emily's older sisters, Kimber is also a cousin of Kaela's on her father's side. Kimber is an extremely bright and talented girl. Kaela has enjoyed watching her blossom into a beautiful young lady and knows that whatever she does, she will be successful.

Scott Yoakum - candle lighter. Scott is groom's 12 year old nephew, Devan's big brother. He is the quiet type, always quick to listen before he speaks. He is fiercely protective of his brother and family and has the soul of a tiger. Both him and his brother are very athletic and make top grades in their school in San Angelo Texas.
